A Miami Beach mansion, listed for $25 million in 2009, sold this week to a German businessman for $16 million, a Miami real estate agent said. The agent also said that the German will not live in Miami Beach but will use the mansion as a vacation home in Miami Beach. It is believed to be the priciest Miami real estate property deal in Miami-Dade since Shaquille O'Neal's sold his $16 million Star Island mansion a year ago...

4 out of 10 South Florida homes are ‘Under Water’

According to a report released Monday, for every ten owners of single family homes in Miami and the Fort Lauderdale area, more than four owe on their mortgages more than their homes were worth at the end of March.

According to a new report from Zillow.com, that’s 371,387 homes meaning 44% of single family homes in Miami are currently under water, an increase over the 344,730 homes 41% in the previous quarter.
